Under the project of “equal women and men in local powers in Tunisia” (a project funded by the FUND), which aims to promote women’s role and impact in local governance, Lam Echaml has celebrated international women’s day on 8th March 2020 in collaboration with the municipalities of: Sidi Ismail-Beja, Bargo Siliana, Medhila-Gafsa, Fhas Zaghoun, Tataouine and Kebili. Art exhibitions, cultural and sports activities around the theme of gender equality have been organised on this occasion.
